zCapital launches a new equity fund, the zCapital Swiss ESG Fund. This fund focuses on the sustainability of companies and increasingly integrates environmental, social and governance (ESG) aspects into fundamental financial analysis.
The aim is to create a concentrated portfolio consisting of around 30 companies that understand sustainability as part of their corporate strategy and thus create added value. Overall, the portfolio is intended to support the achievement of the Paris climate targets and the United Nations' sustainability goals.
As one of the leading asset managers for Swiss equities with CHF 1.7 billion assets under management, zCapital strives to further promote corporate sustainability through active engagement.
In collaboration with myclimate, zCapital plants 100 trees annually for every million francs of assets in the zCapital Swiss ESG Fund. The project combines nature and climate protection with the creation of new sources of income for small farmers.
