zCapital donates to society
Ever since inception zCapital has been donating part of the management fee (0.1% of assets under management at zCapital Swiss Small & Mid Cap Fund, A class) to non-profit organizations focusing on children and education. So far, among others, the following organisations have been supported:
Kinderkrebshilfe Schweiz, Laureus-Stiftung, LZ Weihnachtsaktion, Pestalozzi-Stiftung, Right to Play, Schweizer Freunde der SOS-Kinderdörfer, Stiftung Kinderspital Kantha Bopha, Theodora-Stiftung, Swisscontact, Winds of Hope (Bertrand Piccard), Zunzún.
zCapital is committed to the environment
For every million Swiss francs held in the zCapital Swiss ESG Fund, 18.2 tonnes of CO2 (which is about the same as planting 100 trees) are fixed permanently each year. In partnership with the Fair Recycling Foundation, the project extracts and destroys harmful CFC and HFC gases during the recycling of old refrigerators in Brazil, preventing them from entering the atmosphere. In addition, valuable materials are returned to the circular economy.
This project combines verifiable, audited climate protection with local social engagement. It thus makes a concrete contribution to sustainable development in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
